You can learn more about me here! Hi, I’m Tyler.
I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington, supervised by Tony Fernandez, LCSW-S. My background includes medical and behavioral case management—supporting individuals and couples through grief, trauma, and emotional healing.
I believe in the power of safe, intentional spaces where self-discovery, healing, and growth can unfold—at your own pace, in your own voice. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, loss, or identity questions, my goal is to offer a grounded space where all parts of you are welcome—especially the ones that feel heavy, stuck, or hidden.
About Me
“Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise.” — Victor Hugo
I know how dark life can get—because I am also human. My life experiences have been shaped by the effects of the opioid epidemic, drug use and the foster care system. Their impact on my life has shaped me, and ultimately led me to this path.
Healing didn’t come all at once. It came in moments—quiet shifts, supportive relationships, and the courage to keep going. It is an ongoing process. Whether you’re rediscovering yourself or rebuilding after something painful, I’ll meet you with warmth, respect, and practical tools to help you move forward.
About My Philosophy
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. You are layered, complex, and ever-changing—and your care should reflect that. My approach is integrative and collaborative, meaning we’ll work together to find what fits best for you. Some weeks that may look like grounding techniques, other weeks it may be grief processing, inner child work, or boundary-setting.
I offer therapy that is LGBTQIA+ affirming, identity-conscious, and rooted in curiosity—not judgment. I’m especially passionate about exploring and navigating faith, culture, or existential shifts.
No matter where you are in your journey, I’m here to walk beside you with empathy, intention, and unwavering belief in your ability to heal and grow.
