Hi, I’m Emma.
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from Fordham University, supervised by Caroline Tremblay, LCSW-S.
I first encountered therapy when I was 13 years old while dealing with my own mental health struggles. Seeing the true benefit of treatment, I decided to choose a career in mental health counseling. It is truly inspiring to witness the growth of an individual when working with clients.
My goal is to bridge the gap between mental health and diverse communities. I was raised to recognize my worth and the worth of others, regardless of social or socioeconomic differences.
About My Philosophy
I specialize in trauma informed care and empathize with those who struggle with eating disorders, personality disorders, depression, and anxiety. I have worked primarily with families and individuals struggling to identify their strengths- my focus centers around utilizing strengths thoughtfully. My therapy style is person-centered and solution-focused; I have a background in Feminist, cognitive, and behavioral theories. I currently offer CBT, DBT, and talk therapy.
Feel free to reach out whenever you’re ready to start your journey. We can identify your strengths and challenges together.
